1. Components

1. Host part: The host part mainly includes the main components such as the motor, reducer, and shear box.

The motor drives the cutting box through a reducer to perform cutting motion and achieve cutting of the sample2. Control system: The control system mainly includes a controller, a display, an operation panel, etc. The controller is responsible for controlling the movement of the motor, the display is used to display test data, and the operation panel is used to set test parameters3. Data acquisition system: The data acquisition system mainly includes sensors, data acquisition cards, etc. Sensors are used to detect various parameters during the shearing process, and data acquisition cards are used to convert sensor signals into digital signals for processing by the control system4. Software system: The software system mainly includes data processing software, fault diagnosis software, etc. Data processing software is used to process experimental data and generate experimental reports; Fault diagnosis software is used to monitor the working status of equipment in real time, detect and handle faults in a timely manner

2. Principle

1. Shear principle: The shear box is driven by a motor to perform shear motion, achieving shear of the specimen.

 During the shearing process, the specimen is subjected to shear force, resulting in shear deformation. By measuring the magnitude of the shear deformation, the shear strength of the specimen can be evaluated

2. Data acquisition principle: During the shearing process, sensors detect parameters such as shear force and displacement, and convert these parameters into digital signals through a data acquisition card for processing by the control system. The control system controls the movement of the motor based on these signals to achieve accurate cutting of the sample

3. Data processing principle: The data processing software receives data from the control system, processes and analyzes it, and generates test reports. The test report contains information on the shear strength and shear deformation of the specimens, providing a basis for the design and construction of road engineering

4. Fault diagnosis principle: Fault diagnosis software monitors the working status of equipment in real time, and determines whether there is a fault in the equipment by analyzing the signals of sensors. Once a fault is detected, the fault diagnosis software will immediately issue an alarm to remind the operator to handle it in a timely manner
