III. Structural Principle
This machine mainly consists of the following parts (as shown in the figure):
1、 Rack (4): Its columns are equipped with racks, and four adjustment screws (5) are installed on its base
2、 Sliding seat (1): It is mounted on the column, and its internal gears form a gear pair with the rack on the column. By rotating the feed handle, the sliding seat moves up and down along the column
3、 Gearbox (2): fixed on the slide, with a drill bit (3) installed on its main shaft, which moves with the slide to achieve the purpose of drilling
IV. Instructions
1. Move the machine to the location where the core needs to be drilled, screw on four adjustment screws (5) on the base, adjust the machine level, and embed M16 iron expansion bolts on the ground to fix the machine.
2、 Install the drill bit according to the size requirements of the borehole
3、 Connect the water source and check if there is any water leakage from the drill bit
4、 Turn on the power switch, idle for a few minutes, and rotate the feed handle to drill in
V. Precautions
1. When drilling, the feed rate should be kept uniform, about 3-5cm/min. If the drill bit is stuck, the feed rate can be appropriately reduced. If necessary, the drill bit can be lifted a section and then slowly drilled in. Avoid hard drilling to avoid damaging the drill bit and machine.
2、 Adequate water cooling is required throughout the entire drilling process
3、 At the end of drilling, the machine can only be stopped when the drill bit is detached from the workpiece
4、 During the drilling process, overloading is not allowed. When the motor temperature exceeds 70 ℃ (which feels hot), the loading force should be reduced and a new drill bit should be replaced
6. Maintenance and Inspection
1. Regularly check the connections of each component, and adjust them promptly if they are loose.
2、 When installing the drill bit, calcium based grease should be added to the two threads
3、 After drilling, clean all parts of the drilling rig and add lubricating oil to the columns and racks
4、 Change the lubricating grease in the gearbox every six months
